The New Marketing is going to Blog World Expo 2007

I will be in fabulous Las Vegas on November 7-9 at the Blog World and New Media Expo. Honestly, I was going to give BWE a pass at first. When I looked at the conference schedule the panel offerings seemed pretty thin, and the schedule for Friday didn't seem to have anything in it yet.

Then I looked at the schedule in Internet Explorer. Suddenly I could see twice as many panels and a full Friday schedule! Looks as if the site was having some problems with Firefox compatibility, which now seem to have been fixed.

So keep an eye out for this ne'er-do-well:

P.S. An undeniable sign to me that blogging is now 100 percent mainstream: my mother is also going, to learn how she can use blogging as an entrepreneurial tool. As late as a year ago, that would have been as likely as her going to a Star Trek convention.

You should be very proud of your mum, my mother is only 52 and can't send a text mesaage. Am just about to launch a new team blog at work (20 minutes hence, in fact), so will be very interested to hear what you get out of the conference.
