Hey, it's one of those "meem" things! I remember those.
Jon Silk invited me and a few others to list "Five Tools You Can't Blog Without", something he asked us last year as well.
My List in 2006
- Blogger
- Flickr
- iGoogle
- Ma.gnolia
- Technorati
My List Today
- WordPress (.org and .com)
- FeedBurner
- iGoogle
- del.icio.us
- Twitter
Google Analytics is a strong runner-up. It would be on the list if I felt like I really understood what all of the numbers meant.
Twitter stands just fine on its own, but in this context it's a great emergency backup blogging tool. If I'm at a conference without a working laptop, I can always post to Twitter using my mobile phone.
I've finally gotten over my hatred of del.icio.us' cutesy name and learned to love the service.
Kinda spooky how Google runs three of the five services, huh?
