Metia on top of the world?

Not sure if that's a geographically accurate statement - Metia on top of the world - but its fun to see our new logo up at the North Pole.

Our London office has been helping three friends of the company in their bid to raise cash for a male cancer charity. Their plan was to participate in the Polar Challenge, a race to the North Pole, as Team Bearing360 North. So far we have helped bring in £100,000 - its not too late to contribute - and the team won the race too.

The fund raising activities included running an auction and dinner, online work and various PR stunts, including an infamous naked client dash in front of the Royal Exchange in the City. Luckily, no shrinking violets these Polar athletes. The episode is up on YouTube (its a PG rating at least), but is not a tactic I'll try and sell to our corporate clients.

Their web site is a good read and contains lots of handy info for any potential polar explorers, including eight tips on how to avoid being eaten by a Polar Bear, stuff like Be Alert or If a Bear Approaches Make a Noise.

Call me old fashioned but I'd go for #4: Carry a Weapon.
