Reuters and Yahoo! have launched a citizen news and image publishing site called You Witness News located on Yahoo's site. The site opens for your news uploads tomorrow.

Judging by the news story, its more about generating content for Yahoo! than diluting the integrity of the Reuters brand. Reuters appears to be only selecting, editing and distributing the best examples.

Endearingly the Reuters news story says the two organizations are 'working out' how to compensate contributors whose work is picked up and used around the world. Only six hours left guys...
