Tom Vilsack's Campaign 2.0

Al Gore may have invented the Internet and Howard Dean may have discovered how to use it to organize supporters and raise campaign funds; but I think we're seeing Web 2.0's maturity as a political tool at the Web site of Tom Vilsack, Iowa governor and U.S. Presidential candidate.

The front page links to SEVEN social networking sites being used by the campaign. Not enough, you say? There's a form just below the list that you can use to invite Governor Vilsack to join your own online community. Vilsack's photo gallery is hosted on Flickr. The image above is captured from the gentleman's video blog.

Vilsack also appeared on the Daily Show this week, thus ensuring that he would be all over YouTube in a manner of seconds.
