Jon Silk at the
LEWIS 360 blog recently posted his
top five favorite YouTube videos, and tagged me and a few other bloggers to do the same. He's tracking the progress of the whole thing using a
memetag.
Jon's list includes a very impressive video that I'd never seen before:
Urban Ninja. It may yet make it into my top five, but I'll have to
live with it for a bit.
As is my wont, I thought much too hard about this. For instance: user-generated content only, or is corporate advertising okay? What about copyright-infringing videos that by all rights shouldn't be on the site at all? And then there's the matter of coming up with only five.
And yet:
WADE'S TOP FIVE YOUTUBE VIDEOS
- cute kid ~ karaoke (My arm could be on fire and this video would still make me happy)
- Darth Vader being a smartass
- C-Walking
- Nerdcore Rising Trailer
- Wes Anderson - 'My Card, My Life' (American Express Ad)
I will resist the urge to link to "cat wheel" and "Portal demo", because that would be cheating.
I'm tagging my co-bloggers with this, and also
Ed,
Steve,
Eric, and
Rob. If and when you guys pick up this meme, would you do Jon a favor and include this memetag at the bottom of your post? It's for science.
Internet science.
