About Peter Springett
The past is a bit of a blur. Although I spent most of 1982 waiting for my 48k ZX Spectrum to arrive so that I could write video games in Sinclair Basic and poetry in sub-adolescent English. Obsessed with technology, I still managed to stumble through a degree in literature and French at a photogenic University that specialises in non-vocational teaching. Four years later, I embarked on a copywriting career that has so far spanned public sector information systems, financial markets and business-to-business technology. Now that everyone's a writer, I'm pondering the impact on copywriting professionals and taking a look at the best -and the worst - of the words on the Web.
