What will the next generation think of the internet

This weekend I was woken by my son.  Normally I just tell him to go back to bed and try to get back to sleep.  Saturday I sat up and asked him what he said.

"Dad wake up we've got to go and download the podcasts"

Even though I spend most of my time online I don't get to see my kids as much as I would like, don't know anybody who does, so when they're around I try to spend it with them.  I also think that during his life he'll spend enough time in front of a computer so no need to start them using one so early. I don't think that he will have picked it up from me so where it came from I don't know.

If he's already talking about a technology which didn't exist 3 years ago what he'll be doing in 10 or 20 years I don't know.  I do look forward to it.

He's 4.
