The Financial Times
reports that
Google are "in a frantic round of negotiations" with media owners about the publication of their videos on
YouTube.
They're apparently offering ten's of millions of dollars for the right to broadcast their content.
If I was a media company being offered this for all my content by a company which had just paid $1.65 billion just for the platform I would hold out for far more. You would have also though that Google should have had this tied up before they bought YouTube.
